Canpay or Frankie!!? Compare the two clear Neon Dream sofubi figures from Art Junkie x Bubble Wrapp on price, display look, and collection fit before you buy.
Quick answer
Choose Neon Dream Canpay (Clear) if you want the lower-priced entry into the clear Neon Dream lineup at USD 34.00. Choose Neon Dream Frankie!! (Clear) if you prefer its character design and don't mind paying USD 35.00 for it.
The real difference is the character, not the material
Both figures come from the same Art Junkie x Bubble Wrapp Neon Dream Collection, so the clear vinyl, neon color treatment, and fluorescent elements are shared across the pair. That means your decision comes down to which character you want on the shelf, not which figure is technically superior.
Because both are clear sofubi, they behave the same way in display conditions. Light passes through the vinyl, so backlighting or a bright shelf will make the fluorescent elements pop more than a dim corner will. Neither figure has a documented advantage in durability or paint retention based on the supplied catalog information.
Price gap is small, so don't let it decide for you
The USD 1.00 difference between Canpay at USD 34.00 and Frankie!! at USD 35.00 is negligible over the life of a collection. Both are listed with a USD 50.00 comparison price, which suggests similar positioning within the line. If you are choosing only one, pick the character you actually want rather than optimizing for a dollar.
Buying both is reasonable if you are building a Neon Dream shelf, since the shared clear base and neon palette are designed to sit together. But if space or budget is tight, there is no functional reason to own both beyond display preference.
What the catalog does not tell you
The supplied records do not list dimensions, weight, edition size, or whether either figure includes accessories. If exact scale matters for your display case, confirm those details before ordering rather than assuming the two figures are the same height.
The records also do not specify option types, so treat both as single-variant listings unless the product page shows otherwise at checkout.
Canpay vs Frankie!! trade-offs
- Price: Canpay is USD 34.00 and Frankie!! is USD 35.00, both against a USD 50.00 comparison price. The gap is too small to be a deciding factor. If price is your only tiebreaker, Canpay wins by a dollar, but that is not a meaningful collection advantage.
- Character appeal: Since the material and collection are identical, the character design is the only substantive difference. Pick the one whose look you want to see daily. Look at both product pages side by side before deciding; the clear finish will read differently depending on the sculpt.
- Display pairing: Both share clear vinyl and neon fluorescent elements, so they display as a set without clashing. Buying both is a display choice, not a redundancy. If you have shelf space for two, the pair reads as a coordinated Neon Dream display.
