Thinking about preordering the Sailor Moon Crystal Star Compact figure? Learn what to expect, how preorders work, and key details before you commit.
Quick Answer
Preordering the Sailor Moon Crystal Star Compact Edition is a safe way to secure this collectible at a lower price, but you should understand the deposit, release timing, and what's included before you commit.
Why Preorder This Figure?
Preordering the Sailor Moon Crystal Star Compact Edition locks in a price of USD 19.20, which is 36% off the catalog price of USD 30.00. That's a meaningful saving for a licensed Bandai figure, and it ensures you get one before potential sellouts.
The figure is part of the Figuarts mini lineup and stands 9cm tall. It includes the Cutie Moon Rod, and it has posable neck, shoulders, and legs, so you can display it in different poses. The painted eyes give it a striking look that matches the anime style.
Consider the Tradeoffs
Preorders usually require a deposit and have a longer wait time than buying in stock. You might not receive the figure for several months after ordering. Also, because it's a preorder, the release date can shift, so you need to be patient.
The figure is compact at 9cm, so it won't dominate a shelf. If you prefer larger display pieces, this might not be your main centerpiece. But for a desk or a small shelf, it's a great addition.

- Preorders typically ship after the official release date, which can be several months away. Check the product page for the estimated release window, and expect possible delays. Set a reminder to check for shipping updates a month after the estimated release.

- Most preorders require a deposit at checkout, with the balance due when the item ships. Confirm the store's policy on cancellations and refunds before ordering. Review the store's cancellation policy so you know your options if plans change.
- What's included in the box?
- The figure comes with interchangeable arm parts and the Cutie Moon Rod. The figure itself has painted eyes and posable neck, shoulders, and legs, so you can pose it right out of the box. No extra accessories needed—everything you need for display is included.
