CCP Middle Size Series Vol. 9 Godzilla Clear Black Ver.

The matte clear vinyl really makes the sculpt pop under a desk lamp. Feels lighter than I expected from a soft vinyl figure, but the paint apps are clean with no slop. It’s a fun little desk buddy that captures the retro monster vibe perfectly.

The clear black vinyl looks way better in person than in the photos, almost smoky against a shelf light. Deformed proportions are just right for a middle-size figure, and it sits nicely next to my other sofubi pieces without taking over the shelf.

I was a bit worried the clear vinyl would feel flimsy, but the thickness is actually solid for a soft vinyl figure. The retro-style sculpt has just the right amount of detail without being too busy. Only wish the clear black finish had a tiny bit more shine to it.
