This is the second version of "Saho Hosaka Charmy-chan" designed by photographer* Saho Hosaka. It is very cute with a heart on its cheek. Charmy-chan has been manufactured and sold by Kodama Sangyo since the 1960s, and continues to be manufactured in Tokyo. Charmy-chan is now being sold not only in Japan but also in Europe and other Asian countries as a retro Showa-era fashionable sundries and interior items.

The little heart on the cheek is what sold me, it's such a small detail but it makes the whole face. Second version definitely feels more polished than the first one I saw photos of.
