Madoromi no Yume to Hikari no Hakoniwa 藝術設定集 by Mizutame Tori

The paper quality lets the ink colors pop exactly the way they do on screen, and I caught myself just staring at the character design pages for a good ten minutes. It's a hefty little collection that covers both her originals and commission work, so there's plenty to flip through on a lazy afternoon

The collection spans both her original pieces and past character work, which makes it feel like a complete retrospective in one sitting. I’ve already flipped through it twice and keep catching new details in the linework.

The soft matte cover feels lovely in hand, and flipping through those past character design sketches is like a mini gallery tour. I've already spent an hour just staring at the shading details on page 40 alone.
